Mid Century Kitsch Sea Shell TV Lamp (c.1950s) Valentine but you'll probably end ofWow! There's a lot of kitschy fun loaded into this mid century TV lamp. A relic of Old Florida, this old TV lamp consists of two large abalone shells, other assorted seashells, plus two plastic flamingos mounted into a plaster base. A small electric bulb placed behind a shell illuminates the lamp when plugged in, although it looks FAB unplugged (sans light). These TV lamps were popular in the 1950s and often sat atop a console TV. Some people used
