This deck is ideal for learning about the nuances of the combat phase, but also does well to teach about the importance of mana and establishing a solid ramp early in the game, thanks to 12 colorless artifacts, many of which are mana generators, and also through creature abilities like those seen on Weathered Wayfarer
Beza's biggest issue is that it relies on you being 'behind' in at least one, if not two areas, but creative usage of Beza can really get you insane value -- playing Beza before you drop your 5th land if you were on the draw, for example, is a nice way to get a little mana ramp
But it does have background, which means Acolyte of Bahamut can carry it somewhat, but then were still locked into two colors
The ability to set your damage with the X casting cost is also extremely relevant, as you can often manipulate the board state very favorably by leaving your strongest threat in play
Dack is on theme for the deck and provides one of the only viable main deck ways to deal with artifacts in play
This made the deck very scary to block against, you never knew how big everything was going to wind up
