These cards usually play with established Magic rules in a fun way that is a real treat for ardent fans and even bring back old mechanics that will likely never get printed on legal cards again
Its basically a repeatable Trade Routes on a creature, and is a valuable early game blocker in todays aggressive meta

Having played this card a fair bit, Ive been pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness more often than not, and in a worst case scenario, you play it at the end of an opponents turn, dont get the outcome you want, and play a second board wipe on your turn for the desired result
Kiora does a few fun things, the Explore is brokenly good, and the +1 can keep something from bothering you (or keep a creature of your own as a great blocker) for a while
Similarly, Leyline of Sanctity is very strong against Jund, if somewhat inconsistent
