A 2/2 with daybound that can't be countered, Howlpack Piper can be tapped for two mana to put a creature from its owner's hand directly onto the battlefield, immediately untapping itself if that creature was a werewolf or wolf
But if you do, you can threaten reach with that open ready to activate, and people have to expect that you will, which adds an additional layer of protection to your deck
This is a bit of a dicey inclusion since it enters tapped, which is usually the last thing you want in an Aggro deck
As always, fans have struggled to actually get ahold of product as demand for Pokemon cards continues to outpace supply
The deck is also incredibly synergistic and most of the slivers have tribal effects which boost all slivers on the battlefield
