This awesome card has unique triggers for when you cast either a red, blue, white, or green spell, making it a very fun Commander to build around, but also one that will get you ganged up on at your table if your decks start singing
The bad news is, his stats aren't great, so him getting in is difficult
The difference is marginal, but the fact remains that Spike Cannibal is disastrous for the +1/+1 counter player at the table
There's no upkeep cost and no way around it with the exception of removing Moat itself
This is an obvious decision to preserve The One Ring's flavor and theme, and it helps keep the card fairly balanced, too
Id consider this if I just wanted more mana fixing in a 3+ color typal deck, maybe in something like 5-color slivers or dragons, but most 2-cost mana rocks you plug in will be better
