Bonington was the most famous of Britain's expeditionary climbers during the 1970s and 1980s. This book describes the early climbs on which he built the reputation that got him that job: successful climbs of the Walker Spur on the Grandes Jorasses, the Eiger North Face, Nuptse, and many more. This is a sixth edition printing, from 1977. It is a hardcover in excellent condition, really fine.
