The card's capabilities shouldn't be disregarded, and doubtless the cost expenditure for its rarer forms ties in with its deck-boosting utility
This artwork is absolutely beautiful, and Living End has been doing reasonably-well in Modern as well, making this playable as well as pretty
I don't think I really need to state this...but I'm not spending that on trading cards
I slip them in front of Corrupt because creatures are naturally more valuable (especially with lifelink) and easier to trigger again with a reanimation, flicker, or some other reuse
Since then, the older client been rather overshadowed by Arena, whose ease of use and free to play economy has been very successful at bringing in new players
